Production

PMSG is a hormone produced by the placenta of pregnant mares, and used in animal production to increase reproductive performance in herds.

PMSG USE

Animal reproduction and impact in production results:

SWINE

PMSG is used for the induction and synchronization of estrous in adult sows after weaning to shorten the period between farrowing. The use of nulliparous sows enables estrous induction when including sows in the production batch according to a time-based protocol.
